From the poised grace of Jean-Marie Leclair’s Baroque duo violin sonata to the fluid, impressionistic gestures of Debussy’s cello sonata, each work reflects its era’s unique approach to movement and expression.
Petri Makkonen’s fiery Tango-Toccata infuses the recital with contemporary energy and Argentine flair, while Brahms’s monumental Piano Quintet in F Minor brings the journey to a powerful close, blending Romantic intensity with folk and dance-like undercurrents.
